After Emory was brought by EMS to Medical City Weatherford Hospital, the mother hopped in her car and drove quickly there. Tori made a valiant effort to get answers while traveling to the hospital.
She recalls questioning if she was still alive when she called 911. “I wouldn’t hear anything from anyone.” Tori traveled to the hospital by herself because her husband, Sean, was in Kansas for business.
She received news from the doctors there that no parent should ever hear: Emory had passed away. The distraught mother still finds it impossible to drive by the hospital where her daughter passed away.
