Mother Allegedly Murdered by Husband and Brother-in-Law Identified as Family Pleads to Reunite

Family’s Desperate Plea

In the aftermath of Muzhada’s tragic death, her scattered family—based in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Afghanistan—is desperately seeking to gain custody of her sons, aged three and four.

The children, who speak little English, currently lack a legal guardian and are staying with individuals unknown to Muzhada’s family.

According to women’s rights advocate Rita Anwari, who is now acting as the family’s spokesperson.

“These little children don’t speak English and they are with a family they don’t know — and we don’t know either,” Ms Anwari told The Courier Mail.

International Hurdles

The effort to reunite the boys with their blood relatives is complicated by international legal challenges. Muzhada’s sister lives in the UK, her brother is in Spain, and her mother remains in Afghanistan.
