In 1997, at the age of 21, the Octomom initiated her IVF treatments. Her entire procedure was overseen by Dr. Michael Kamrava.
In 2001, she delivered her first son, Elijah. She gave birth to her first daughter, Ameerah, one year later. Subsequently, Nadya bore three additional children:
Two sons, Joshua and Aidan, and a pair of fraternal twins, Calyssa and Caleb. Nevertheless, she did not cease her journey at that point. She desired to have additional children in her life.
Nadya desired to implant all six embryos into her uterus simultaneously, as she had six remaining from her previous IVF treatments. It was a difficult decision.
