Naomi Pomeroy, 49, of Top Chef Masters, passed away in a terrifying tubing accident.

Due to the high currents and debris in the river, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BSCO) has not been successful in finding her underwater.

Three individuals were found caught on an exposed snag in the ocean after becoming entangled on a paddle board and two tubes, according to a statement from BSCO yesterday (July 16),

as reported by Entertainment Weekly. “One of the adults, Naomi, was pulled under the water and unable to free herself due to the paddleboard leash.”

The hunt for the missing TV celebrity has continued as of yesterday (Tuesday 16), and her corpse has not been recovered from the water.

Despite using “all available tools, including sonar, underwater cameras, and drones,” deputies have not been able to find Naomi in the area because of the thick debris in the water.
