“punch through people’s chests and rip their arms off, rip their heads off,” as recounted by Reeves. “I think it was influenced by some of the action films that I had done,” remarked the performer.
With all the bloodshed in the comic and the world at large, Reeves prayed that his work would serve as a source of amusement rather than incitement for its readers.
“I hope if they read BRZRKR, that they don’t go out and start ripping people’s arms off and chopping their heads off,” added the man. Reason being, it has a love tale as well.
“But if you do read it, I hope maybe you can find love if you don’t have it,” said the author.
