Netflix faces criticism for airing a new Matt Rife special after a contentious quip from his last episode.

It has now been disclosed that Rife’s most recent endeavor, Matt Rife: Lucid – A Crowd Work Special, debuted on Netflix on Tuesday, August 13.

Several others criticized X on social media, with one user writing: “@Netflix, why are you doing another Matt Riffe special? Just today, I cringed so much when I saw his face appear on TV.”

“How the f*** did Matt Rife get a SECOND Netflix special?” inquired a different person. Was it only the hatewatchers who increased the amount of views?

A third person asked, “Ugh. Is this man back?”Another replied: “They rlly gave Matt rife ANOTHER stand up special on Netflix ….pls say sike rn.”

The program is the first-ever crowd work special on the site, meaning that discussions with Rife are basically the source of the material.

Rife said in a Forbes interview: “I like crowd work since it’s fresh for each event and doesn’t burn anything. I find it exciting. And I’m very proud of it since hardly many comedians ever change up their routine.”

An expert explains why one of the riskiest habits he’s seen is “raw dogging.”

After his performance goes viral, Olympic breakdancer Raygun breaks the ice with an emotional video.
