Who visited El Salvador last week in an effort to see him and lobby for his release, have harshly criticised his deportation carried out under the Trump administration.
According to court papers acquired by Fox News, Jennifer Vasquez, Abrego Garcia’s wife, accused him of domestic abuse in Prince George’s County District Court in 2021.

She said, “At this point, I am afraid to be close to him,” adding that she had “multiple photos/videos of how violent he can be and all the bruises he [has] left me.”
