Among those who slammed Trump for the tariff plan was former President Barack Obama.
At Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, Obama stated on Thursday, “I have deep differences of opinion with my most immediate successor — who is now president again.”
He continued, “I don’t think what we just saw in terms of tariffs and economic policy is going to be good for America.”
