Officials report that U.S. soldiers have received missing American Travis Timmerman, who was discovered in Syria.

Stacey Collins Gardiner, Timmerman’s mother, told Kansas City’s NBC station KSHB that the March trip abroad was his first time traveling abroad and that at first.

She was unaware of any specifics of his schedule. Prior to going off the radar in May, he had been making calls around three times a week.

Gardiner claimed that not hearing from her son, one of her four children, over the last several months had devastated her.

When she found out he was still alive on Thursday, she added, “I shed happy tears.” “He’s my baby,” she said, “so it was a relief to know he was still alive.”

After she forewent cancer treatment to save her child’s life, the teen mother and child both perished.
