Olivia Wilde and Anna Kendrick shot an improvised film including a nude scene.

The fact that the whole movie was created without a script makes improvisation really amazing. Making a movie is difficult enough.

When performers have a thorough script in hand that will help them over every line and scene. It’s thus really amazing to learn that certain scenes in a movie were improvised.

More remarkably, however, is when a whole film—like this one from 2013, starring Olivia Wilde and Anna Kendrick—now available on Netflix—is improvised from beginning to end.

The cast completely created the conversation and several pauses in between, even though the actors had some essential narrative points to hit and understood where the tale needed to go.

This contains a moment in which Olivia Wilde’s character gets naked—which she said was an improvisation on her part during an interview.
