One day before to the American Airlines tragedy, the plane had to be rerouted after a near-miss with a helicopter at the same airfield.

Just one day before to the deadly American Airlines disaster, another aircraft is said to have aborted its landing in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday night (January 29), American Airlines Flight 5432, which had 60 passengers and four crew members on board, collided with a military helicopter that was transporting three troops.

The jet, which had taken out from Wichita, Kansas, and was arriving at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC, had no survivors.

The three passengers on board the Sikorsky H-60, an army helicopter that had taken off from Virginia’s Fort Belvoir, also perished.

A helicopter appeared in Republic Airways Flight 4514’s flight path at the same airport on Tuesday, January 28, the day before.
