She has most recently worked as a coach at Virginia’s Ashburn Ice House. According to the club’s website, “Inna also had a lot of success internationally, achieving gold, silver, and bronze medals in various international competitions.”
Rob Lorenzen, general manager of Ashburn Ice House, told NBC Washington that she had passed away.
According to her coaching biography, Volyanskaya was a well-known figure skater who was praised for her roles in Disney On Ice.,
Where she played well-known characters including Princess Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel. She represented the Soviet Union as a pairs skater.
In the 1980s before landing a main position in the “Russian All-Stars,” an ice theater group established by renowned instructor Tatiana Tarasova.
