Parents are suing an Orlando hospital for allegedly murdering their baby daughter by breaking her neck.

According to court filings, the infant had suffered a crippling spinal cord damage that rendered her paraplegic and unable to breathe on her own.

“This type of spinal cord injury could not occur without the use of excessive force when handling a newborn,” the complaint alleges.

According to the lawsuit, Jahxy passed away in November 2022 from her injuries. “There is no note in the medical record documenting the excessive-force event which caused this traumatic injury,

And no indication in the medical record that an investigation was performed to identify and bring to justice the individual who caused this devastating injury,” the complaint states.

Furthermore, according to the parents, there is no proof that law enforcement was ever informed “that an individual with access to the Orlando Health NICU had broken Jahxy’s neck.”

A hospital employee allegedly fractured Jahxy’s neck “and then put her back in the incubator without notifying anyone,” according to the complaint, as reported by ABC News.
