According to the prosecutor, a small boy’s mother took a picture of reddening behind his right ear on May 18. According to Dr. Rose, pinching is consistent with it.
He claims that this was not an accident, and the Crown claims that this is more proof that the defendant has been abusing him for a longer period of time than what is seen on the CCTV.
“These earlier injury photos are also available.”Lecka’s parents have acknowledged that they mistreated their daughter after she came home from the nursery on March 6 and May 14.
In March, the parents observed wounds on her hips and left forearm when bathing her. The nursery informed them that there were no issues and that no falls had been reported.
After noticing marks on the girl’s right hip and left side, the parents took additional pictures on May 14.
According to Dr. Rose, these injuries are not accidental and are in line with injuries to the thumb or fingernails. The consultant believes that these bruises are the result of an injury that was caused.
