The jurors were initially provided with more information on the one count pertaining to Lecka’s prior employment at Little Munchkins, another Montessori school in the vicinity of Hounslow.
On October 19, 2023, Chamilla Seneviratne, a coworker, was in a side room changing a child’s diaper when she heard Lecka yell, “You are so annoying,” at a young girl.
The KC clarified, “She heard the girl screaming and crying.” “As if she had been pinched, she noticed a red bump on the girl’s upper thigh and snapped a picture of it.”
In her statement, Ms. Chamilla Seneviratne stated: “She was crying so much and running towards me.” I noticed a large, rough red spot on her skin.
Lecka heard employees talking about looking at the CCTV in the room.According to the witness, “she began to panic and said she was feeling hot, and she was panicking even more when she heard about the camera.”
