She is six years old. She goes tanning with her mother, yes, but not in the booth, she said. “This whole thing is absurd!”
Because of this occurrence, Patricia gained the moniker “Tan Mom.” Her visage was also often featured in publications and other media.

Where they just don’t realize just how much color they have.” She said, “There’s really no justification for taking a young child to a tanning salon.”
