Patrick Wilson, Kate Winslet’s co-star, says she suffered “a lot of bruises” during filming a passionate love scene.

 

Wilson spoke about the experience of shooting the moment on the It Happened in Hollywood podcast, acknowledging that he feels like a “dinosaur” when he thinks back on it.

He said that the business has changed dramatically and that the use of intimacy coordinators has greatly changed the way that these kinds of sequences are now recorded.

He stated: “[Kate] was so cool and gracious and just a gamer – just like, ‘Let’s go for it.'” “There was never a strange or uncomfortable moment. Not a single one. I loved it.

Wilson further affirmed that the moment was filmed without the use of body doubles, meaning that viewers only saw him and Winslet.

Though they were carefully kept out of the picture, they did utilize modesty covers to preserve some privacy. Additionally, he took an opportunity.

To address rumors that Winslet had bruises as a result of the physically taxing nature of the sequence. Wilson claims that both of them gave their all throughout their hard performance.
