Patrick Wilson, Kate Winslet’s co-star, says she suffered “a lot of bruises” during filming a passionate love scene.

“There must have been a lot of bruises,” he remarked. In other words, since the #MeToo movement and intimacy coordinators, I haven’t performed a scenario like that.

“I do feel a little bit like a dinosaur when it comes to [having appeared in] those kind of love scenes.” Winslet spoke about her experience shooting those moments.

After the movie came out. She spoke about how she and Wilson collaborated to bring out the best in one another so that their on-screen personas seemed genuine and organic.

Winslet spoke about how she and Wilson rehearsed for the scenario and that they were quite deliberate.

To determine what would work best for the camera, they initially practiced the sequence while fully dressed, rather than immediately starting to shoot.

She continued: “We rehearsed the scene fully clothed, without anyone in the room; just us and Todd, and we just got a general shape of the scene so we knew what to expect.”
