On Monday night, two of the four wounded were released from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. At around 10:57 a.m., officers responded to the report of an active shooter.
According to Barnes, no cops discharged their firearms. According to the police, there was no breach and the suspect was already inside the school.
“In my whole life, I have never seen so many police cars—just red and blue lights bordering the streets and the school. John Diaz De Leon told ABC News Live,
“Everyone was there, including the fire department and paramedics, swarming the normally quiet neighborhood.”
He claimed to have seen older children fleeing from the school across the parking lot and cops with long rifles at the site.
