Black women under 40 who intend to vote increased to 57%, up 18 percentage points from April. According to the Post, 82% of Black registered voters support
Harris over Trump, while just 12% support Trump. In the Times survey, Trump had a 14% approval rating and 78% of Black Americans said they supported him.
The poll, which was conducted by The Post and Ipsos, surveyed 1,083 Black Americans between August 23 and September 3. 3.2% is the poll’s stated margin of error.
Black voters also give Harris strong, if not overwhelming, majority support on the issues. She only loses out on a majority when it comes to Israel’s conflict with Hamas,
as 49% of Black Americans say they trust her to manage the situation. Remarkably, 28% of respondents stated they couldn’t trust either candidate on the issue.
