The precise moment the chopper crashed into the river is captured in a terrifying video footage that was uploaded to YouTube.
The video, which NBC News shared, showed the plane falling and spiraling out of control in midair before flipping over just before it hit the sea. On impact, massive water ripples shot skyward as it struck the river.
Both marine and land response units are on the site, and the cause of the incident is still being investigated.

The fatalities were identified by authorities as Agustin Escobar, his wife, Merce Camprubi Montal, and their four, five, and eleven-year-old children.
