Eric Campoverde, a 21-year-old construction worker, provided more information, as reported by the New York Post.
He claimed to have witnessed the helicopter descending at a sharp 45-degree angle while he was walking home from work. “Then I noticed a large splash and heard it. “It was moving quickly,” he continued.
He remembered how swiftly the plane disappeared, stating that it was visible for just “three or four seconds” before vanishing under the water.
After watching the disaster video, Michael Roth, the CEO and owner of New York Helicopter Tour & Charter, also commented, according to LinkedIn.
