The film also emphasizes the July 1997 death of Clinton administration former White House intern Mary Mahoney.
During a heist in a Washington, D.C. Starbucks, Mahoney was shot. Originally little noticed nationally.
The case was later looked at in relation to the larger chronology of the Clinton impeachment process.
Notable also is James McDougal’s 1998 death. Key player in the Whitewater property deal probe and former Clinton business associate, McDougal passed cardiac arrest while serving a Texas prison sentence.
McDougal was scheduled to testify going forward and had been assisting federal investigators at the time of his death.
The movie features Walter Scheib, the former White House Executive Chef throughout both the Clinton and Bush administrations, who vanished in June 2015 and was later discovered dead in a river in New Mexico.
