Quincy Jones passed away at the age of 91.

 

Jones, who earned an incredible 28 Grammy awards over the course of his 75-year career, was a pioneer of contemporary music.

Time magazine called him one of the most important jazz performers of the 20th century because of how much of an impact he had.

His production of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the best-selling album of all time, is particularly noteworthy. He played a significant role in changing our understanding of music production.

Additionally, Jones and Sinatra’s partnership turned the timeless waltz “Fly Me To The Moon” into a swinging song that has endured throughout time.

Jones’ influence extended beyond only music. He also had a lasting impression on television and movies,
