“If you are currently in active addiction, this is my plea to you. Look at these pictures. Images of a broken person.

Someone who lost her way so deeply that she spent days and nights barely functioning,” Matos wrote. “A person who spent everything on substances and forgot.

She had children who needed her. Someone who lost everything that mattered. Someone who thought she would never, ever get better—until she did,” she continued.

“I did this in the hopes of even getting one person to reach out, and the fact that hundreds of you have trusted me and my story enough.
