Ozzy Osbourne has disclosed that medical professionals were required to administer four times the standard dose of anesthetic to him in order to induce unconsciousness for surgery while he was an active drug user.
The 73-year-old frontman of Black Sabbath recounted that the physician responsible for administering the necessary medications prior to the procedure inquired as to why he was not yet asleep.
In 2003, Ozzy was involved in a near-fatal quad-bike accident. Since then, circumstances have significantly changed.
It is evident that Ozzy’s days of excessive drinking are behind him, and he now maintains a significantly more structured existence than he did in the past.
In an interview with Sirius XM, Ozzy has been reported as stating, “I had a method while I was doing all of this s***.”
