In addition, the researchers report that the university is already developing several potential preventative cancer vaccines, such as “LynchVax” for individuals with Lynch syndrome,
A genetic disorder that raises the risk of developing certain cancers; “OvarianVax,” which “teaches” the immune system to identify and combat ovarian cancer in its early stages;
And “LungVax,” which may prevent or postpone the onset of cancer in individuals at risk of developing certain types of lung cancer.
