“I felt really strong movements,” a resident of Wentworth Point told Today.
“Oh, what’s happening?” was how I was [felt]. It was both incredible and a little frightening.
The earthquake was initially recorded as a magnitude 5.1 event by Geoscience Australia, but this was later changed to 4.6.
No severe damage or injuries have been reported.
It is the most recent of several comparable earthquakes that have occurred in the area in recent months.
