After receiving over 100 alert calls from the location, the Dominican Republic’s National Emergency Attention System launched an operation involving seven rescue cranes and 77 ambulances.
As of right now, the official death toll from the Jet Set nightclub collapse stands at 113, while 250 people were injured and taken to medical facilities.
More than 300 rescuers were mobilized by the event, including 911 emergency professionals, firefighters, Civil Defense, National Police, and Armed Forces.
