The star of the Netflix series Elite, Julián Ortega, passed away at the age of 41 this week after reportedly passing out on a Spanish beach.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the actor’s family and friends on behalf of the Union of Actors and Actresses, the statement said.
Beachgoers notified emergency personnel as soon as Ortega fell into cardiac arrest. For thirty minutes, paramedics attempted to resuscitate the actor, but they were unsuccessful.
The tragic event took place on Zahora Beach in Barbate, Spain, which is southwest of Marbella, underneath a beach bar.
