San Diego Plane Crash Victims Identified, Including Drummer Daniel Williams and Talent Agent Dave Shapiro

Two people onboard a small plane that crashed into a San Diego neighborhood on Thursday morning (May 22) have been identified.

The plane, carrying six people, went down in the Murphy Canyon area, triggering evacuations across several streets.

Assistant Fire Department Chief Dan Eddy described the scene during a news conference: “We have jet fuel all over the place.

Our main goal is to search all these homes and get everybody out right now.” He also noted a direct hit to multiple homes and a large debris field in the densely populated area.

Among the victims was Dave Shapiro, a well-known talent agent and co-founder of Sound Talent Group, who owned the Cessna 550 involved in the crash.
