In a Facebook post captioned “Mykonos, let’s do it!,” Takis Papadakos showed the film and voiced his disgust with the captain.
“Dangerous interference with the transport of means of fixed orbit, ships and aircraft” and “Physical injury due to negligence” are allegedly the allegations that led to the captain’s detention.
A witness was reportedly “hospitalised with two broken ribs,” according to Papadakos. “Congratulations Fast Ferries for the captain of FastFerries Andros you have,
he clearly ‘respected’ the health of the bathers of St. Stephen and passed as close and as fast as ever before, lest he miss 5 minutes of his itinerary!!”
From the translated passage, Papadakos writes “Let us all plummet from our lofty perches if we move forward with the profits and disregard human life, shall we?”
