On May 1, 2025, sisters Miriam and Gladys De la Torre, aged 62 and 67, died when their car collided head-on with another vehicle in Argentina—just minutes after taking a selfie in their Renault Clio.
The women had just left Mar del Plata, smiling for a picture sent to family. Police are investigating whether a third vehicle caused the crash.
