Per the AP, Montgomery was finally killed by lethal injection on Jan. 13, 2021, at the federal prison facility in Terre Haute, Ind. She measured 52.
Montgomery became the first female executed under federal authority since 1953. According to AP, Bonnie Brown Heady, the 1953 execution victim abducted and killed a little child in Missouri.
