Footage shows the community acting quickly, and although they subdued the snake, they were unable to revive the woman. Her son was devastated upon discovering the heartbreaking scene.
Police inspector One Hardi confirmed the series of events, explaining that La Faru had noticed something was wrong when his mother didn’t return,
And he later discovered her vegetable basket left behind. Gathering other relatives, they conducted a search in nearby fields and forested areas.
“Eventually, they found the snake and realized what had happened,” the inspector said. “The community acted fast and did their best, but sadly the victim had already passed.”
