However, Yusuf wore his prescription glasses just for daily use to the competition, which was a totally different strategy.
“I never needed that equipment,” he told Turkish media when asked about his choice to not use the device. It comes easily to me to photograph. That’s the reason for my sparse accessory use.
Yusuf and his Turkish colleague Sevval Ilayda Tarhan won the event’s silver medal. This was Yusuf’s sixth time participating in the shooting event at the Olympics.
“I am just very happy about five Olympic Games,” he had earlier said after the event by remarking. Our performance in today’s tournament was outstanding.
