Since “his lips are meant for one woman,” Neal McDonough refuses to kiss any of his co-stars in films or television series.

 

The father of five reportedly recounted a particular instance in 2010 when he was passed over for an estimated $1 million job.

On the set of ABC TV’s Scoundrels because he would not take part in personal scenes with actress Virginia Madsen, according to Page Six.

“After that, I couldn’t get a job because everybody thought I was this religious zealot,” he said, recalling the aftermath as “horrible.”

I have a strong religious conviction. I prioritize my family and God above myself. That’s my guiding principle. For a few years, it was difficult.

However, I wasn’t going to give up the battle. And it was successful. “My career has been amazing,” he said.
