Around 130 kilometers (80 miles) southwest of the capital, in the Cha-am area, a well-liked weekend retreat, the plane went down around 100 meters from the coast, according to Thai media.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Panthep Maniwachirangkul and Police Colonel Prathan Khiaokham were the two pilots that were slain.
After suffering serious injuries, another pilot, Police Captain Jaturong Watthanaphaisan, was transported to Hua Hin Hospital and subsequently declared dead.
The event also claimed the lives of a mechanic, Police Lance Corporal Jirawat Maksakha, and an engineer, Police Lieutenant Tanawat Mekprasertsuk.
