Last year, Sean Scullion and his wife Tijanna were cautiously excited when they learned they were expecting a child.
The couple was afraid that history might repeat itself since they had suffered the heartbreak of a miscarriage in 2023.
“After losing our daughter Sienna, we were very anxious about things not going well, but we were trying to stay positive,” Sean, 37, says to Sun Health.
And everything seemed to be moving forward. Tijanna, 33, who her friends called Tij, was in good health overall and excited about the prospect of having a child.
But on January 22, 2025, at 32 weeks, everything changed. Sean, a Manchester native, claims that Tijanna had been in excruciating agony for two or three days.
