As he waited nervously in the hallway, he overheard a surgeon utter the words, “33-year-old female, internal bleeding.”
“Oh God, that’s my wife,” Sean continues, “so I was obviously quite worried at this point.”
It was definitely a relief to hear that the baby had been born and seemed to be doing well around thirty minutes later.
However, I was informed that “there have been some complications, but we don’t really know any more” when I inquired about Tijanna.
Tijanna spent the next five hours in surgery as their baby Nyjah was taken to critical care. Doctors stated they needed to talk to Sean at about 5:30 a.m.
