Star of “Umbrella Academy” reveals “grueling” last day of shooting for Netflix program after being trapped underground for 14 hours

Robert Sheehan, a former member of the band Misfits, recently revealed his demanding shooting schedule for the last season.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sheehan discussed his last days on set as Klaus Hargreeves and said that there was one reason why it had been so difficult.

“Last day on set was a gruelling day where I was buried alive over and over and over again,” stated the actor.

“It was the most Promethean day I’ve had on the set of Umbrella Academy, because I was in and out of quite a snug coffin for about 14 hours.”

Although Sheehan would not disclose the reason for his character’s terrifying plight, he did make a joke about how he had enough time to rehearse his response to being buried alive.

“Aaaaaagh!” is the name of it. Such things. Do you see? Herndon, she chimed in.
