Stunning image of a newborn baby, still with the umbilical chord intact, tossed in a trash can

A newborn child with his umbilical chord still attached was found abandoned next to a dumpster in a terrifying photo.

After neighbors of an apartment complex in Riverside, California, claimed to have heard a baby’s cries emanating from the vicinity, the small newborn was discovered sobbing next to the trash on Sunday afternoon.

The mother who left the defenseless newborn is currently the subject of a relentless police search.

According to a Riverside Police Department news release, the defenseless newborn was still breathing when officers arrived at the 3800 block of Jackson Street at 2:30 pm.

Officers discovered a newborn boy lying next to a dumpster, breathing, sobbing, and with the umbilical chord still attached when they arrived, according to the news release.

The infant was taken by paramedics to a hospital just across the street, where he is currently said to be in “good health and stable condition.”

Medics believed the attractive teenager who had been discovered “frozen” beside the river was dead. He was then taken to the mortuary.
