The defense, however, is still concerned about the weapon’s range and wants to have a specialist with SWAT experience test it.
That isn’t feasible, according to the prosecutors, as the weapon would need to be inspected inside a government facility by someone who doesn’t have access to one.
Next week, the defense will get the chance to visit an FBI field office in Miramar, Florida, to see all of the evidence in the case.
