Combs, who is being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, has refuted every accusation made against him.
Federal authorities accused Combs with sex trafficking, racketeering, and other charges in September. He has made three unsuccessful attempts to get bail.
In a statement to TMZ on Sunday night, Combs’s lawyers reaffirmed their position on the lawsuit against Combs and referred to Buzbee’s most recent action as one of many “shameless publicity stunts.”
According to the statement, “this amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee expose his barrage of lawsuits against.
Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.”
It went on to say: “Mr. Combs has complete faith in the facts and the fairness of the legal system, as his legal team has previously stated.”
The truth will win out in court: Mr. Combs never sexually abused or trafficked any anybody, adult or child, male or female.
