Teen Offender Karmelo Anthony Receives String of Deliveries at Family’s $900K Gated Community Home After Claiming Financial Hardship to Secure Release

A judge cut his bond after his family reported financial difficulties. A $900,000 house in Frisco, Texas’ gated neighborhood “Richwoods” has been rented by Anthony’s family.

The extravagant lifestyle contrasts sharply with the financial difficulties that Anthony’s father, Andrew Anthony, stated in court on Monday, claiming that he was the only provider for the family.

Prosecutors questioned Anthony about why he was unable to pay the judge’s $1 million bond with the more than $439,000 (as of Tuesday night) in donated donations for his son’s defense.

Andrew informed the judge that he would use the donated money for his son’s legal defense and that he does not have access to it.

Before Karmelo returned home from jail on Monday, many of the Anthonys’ neighbors were unaware that they shared a home.
