Until a bond hearing could be scheduled, McDonald was detained without bond. However, the location of McDonald’s detention was unknown.

Sheriff Demings made it quite evident that he does not tolerate this kind of thuggery in his community.
Demings will not only continue to enhance patrols in the International Drive tourist area, but he will also hold those seen intimidating innocent people accountable.
As evidence of this, the high school students were charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, carjacking with a car, and armed kidnapping.
Sheriff Demings stated, “These high school students were playing a dangerous game, and they got caught playing a dangerous game.”
Detectives will investigate whether or not all of the teenagers are members of gangs. “We want you to reconsider if you are entering our community with criminal intent.”
And regardless of how young the criminals they apprehend may be, many people concur that’s the ideal mindset for any sheriff.
