A 9-year-old girl called Payton Crustner lost her life in a tragedy that was meant to be the beginning of a new milestone.
Payton’s family decided it would be a good idea to snap a picture of their daughter carrying a sign that said “1st Day of 4 Grade” along with the date since she was entering fourth grade.
Unaware that her life would end only minutes later, Payton was beaming as she posed Unfortunately, this lovely young woman was killed in a vehicle accident on her way to school.
With her family, so she never made it to the classroom. Marcus Wayne Dukes, 18, was on the highway when he turned left and swerved into oncoming traffic,
Colliding with Payton’s mother, Miranda, 32, who was operating the vehicle. Payton was ejected from the car at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead on the spot.
