Los Angeles County, tens of thousands of residents were ordered to evacuate. There were evacuation orders. in effect for around 30,000 people living close to the Pacific.
Palisades region. Because of the “immediate threat to life” posed by the fire, Cal Fire informed locals that the area was legally off-limits to the public.
According to the city, an evacuation order was issued in Santa Monica, a coastal community located immediately south of the Pacific Palisades,
Between Ocean Boulevard and 26th Street and between the city’s northern boundary and San Vicente Boulevard.
In the meanwhile, the Eaton Fire broke out in northeast Los Angeles County, close to Altadena and Pasadena.
About 200 acres were burned Tuesday night, according to Cal Fire’s original assessment, before the fire spread to an estimated 400 acres.
