Authorities debated about who should transfer the corpse of a teenager who died at home from a seizure, leaving her lying on the floor for nine hours.
After being diagnosed with epilepsy a year before, 17-year-old Lucy Grant passed away at her home in Johnstone, Scotland, after a seizure.
Her corpse was not moved for many hours as police and paramedics argued about who should do it, which added to the tragic event.
Only until a senior investigator showed there and eventually requested a private ambulance and Lucy was carried away did the traumatized family’s horror come to an end.
The 44-year-old mother, Lynette Anderson, told the Daily Record: “I once fell to my knees in the yard. I was yelling and weeping. I was obviously upset.
“During the worst period of my life, they were arguing and making a spectacle in front of the neighbors while standing on the street.
