According to the grand jury’s charge, Moore killed Sherman to stop her divorce trial from beginning the next day.
According to the indictment, Moore was under investigation at the time of Sherman’s murder for threatening to bomb the courthouse on the days he was required to appear in court in order to also evade proceedings.
According to the indictment, Moore was aware that he was being investigated for the bomb threats.
Moore entered a guilty plea in 2017 to charges of falsifying statements to investigators during the Sherman probe and causing alarm about bomb threats.
Prosecutors said Moore will be arraigned later at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.
